March 2010 is Government Purchasing Month
Colorado Governor Bill Ritter, Jr. has declared March 2010 as "Government Purchasing Month."
March is Purchasing Month and in light of current economic times there has never been a better time to highlight the impact of public procurement savings when it comes to governmental spending. Research has proven time and again that educated and certified procurement professionals have the necessary skills and tools to get the most use from each and every taxpayer dollar.
