Why You Should Attend
A routed export is where a foreign buyer elects the U.S. freight forwarder/agent to facilitate the export on the foreign buyer's behalf.
There are nuances that are unique to routed exports. These nuances leave a door open for the shipper/U.S. Principal Party in Interest (USPPI) to potentially be in violation of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act 1992.
This information packed webinar is designed to present a comprehensive summary of the compliance concerns in a routed export transaction. This webinar will help participants in the preparation of their own internal compliance procedures related to routed export transactions.
The following points will be addressed:
* What is a "routed" export transaction?
* What regulations govern exports?
* Who is responsible for export controls?
* Am I the USPPI?
* What role does the forwarder play?
* Summary of main risks involved in routed exports
* What are fines/penalties for non-compliance?
* How can we become compliant?
Don't miss out on this opportunity to further your capabilities in bringing your company into full compliance with the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act 1992 as it relates to routed export transactions.
